Getting started.

Sign in, set up in about two minutes, and learn where things live. That’s all it takes.

Sign in with Google

Life Lattice runs in your browser. There’s nothing to download.

  1. Go to app.getlifelattice.com.
  2. Tap Continue with Google and pick your Google account.
  3. The welcome opens. Tap Let’s set up my Lattice.

You stay signed in until you sign out. Adding a second phone or computer? On the first one, open Settings › Google & my data and tap Sign in another device. Type the code it shows on the new one.

The welcome screen: Welcome to Life Lattice. Your day on one screen, Add anything in a few words, Never lose track. A button: Let’s set up my Lattice.

Set it up in about two minutes

Five short steps. Every answer can change later in Settings.

  1. What should we call you? Your first name, and your town for the weather.
  2. What would help most? Pick up to three. Your first screen is set up to match.
  3. Your day, your way: how times look (like 6:00 PM, or 18:00) and the look you like.
  4. Add your first thing. Type it the way you’d say it, or tap Not now.
  5. Tap Start my Day Plan.

Want to see the welcome again? Settings › Help › Show the welcome again. Nothing you have is changed.

Set-up, step 2 of 5: What would help most? Pick up to three: Plan my day, Remember things, Keep up with the house, Build a habit, Keep track of a project.

Lite, Individual or Together

Three levels, one app. Start with Lite and add more when life asks for it. Your level shows under your name in the app.

Free

Lite

Your day, a few habits, a binder and notes, on 1 device. Reminders show while the app is open.

For you

Individual

Phone alerts when the app is closed. Google Calendar both ways, plus Google Tasks. Up to 3 devices, backup copies kept for you, and more room for files and photos.

For the family

Together

Everything in Individual for a household of up to 6 people, each with their own sign-in. Plus shared chores, groceries and dinner, giving a task to someone, groups, and the Hub.

Find your way: the tabs

On a phone, the tabs sit along the bottom. On a tablet or computer, the same places are in the menu on the left.

  1. Day Plan: today, all on one page.
  2. Calendar: the day, week or month.
  3. Tasks: everything to do, by day.
  4. Binders: one for each bigger thing, like a trip or a move.
  5. More: Habits & Goals, Notes & files, Together, and Text size.

The bell at the top shows your alerts. The magnifier searches everything.

The More sheet over Day Plan: Habits & Goals, Notes & files, Together, and Text size S, M, L, XL.

Add anything with +

The round + at the bottom right is the fastest way in. The number on it is how many things are waiting to be sorted.

  1. Tap +.
  2. Type it the way you’d say it: “dentist Tue 3 PM” or “milk to the grocery list”. Or tap 🎙 and say it.
  3. Check what it understood (Event, the day, the time) and tap Add.

No day? It waits under To sort on Day Plan, so nothing gets lost.

The Add anything box with “dentist Tue 3 PM” typed in. Life Lattice reads it as an event on Tue, Nov 3 at 3:00 PM.

Put it on your home screen

Life Lattice installs like any other app, with its own icon.

  1. Android, Chrome or a computer: open your browser’s menu and tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
  2. iPhone or iPad: open app.getlifelattice.com in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen and Add.

Step-by-step pictures: Get the app.

On an iPhone, phone alerts work only when you open Life Lattice from the home-screen icon.

Settings, Put away and Undo

Tap your initial at the top left for Settings.

  1. You, My day, Look and Reminders change how the app looks and nudges you, including 12- or 24-hour time.
  2. Undo shows at the bottom of the screen right after a change.
  3. Deleted something? It waits in Put away for 30 days.
